Black Friday is less than one week away, and it is shaping up to be like no other.
This year because of COVID-19, retailers are encouraging less in store shopping and changing Black Friday from a one day event.
What does this mean for you?
You don’t have to wait until Black Friday to get the best deals.
You can get them right now.
Personally, I think this was inspired by Amazon’s Prime Day being an early Black Friday like event, but it benefits us all and is very exciting.
I don’t want you to miss a single deal.
I know I am actually late writing this post though.
A month long of deals is like no other, so I am posting late about it.
I mean I did not know it would be a month of deals.
This post was scheduled to go out on Monday, and I caught a cold.
I am ok.
I do not have COVID-19.
I used caution though.
Everyone knows what 2020 has brought.
It looks like no one’s favorite year.
With the challenges comes a time to innovate, and this one is good: Black Friday Month.
That’s right.
With early events (and from what I hear) after BlacK Friday deals, shopper’s favorite day may be two months of deals.
What can you expect?

Black Friday This Year: Early Deals
Most major retailers will release early Black Friday deals weekly during the month of November up until Black Friday.
Here is what to look for from each of the top major retailers who usually have the best Black Friday deals.
Walmart
Walmart’s Black Friday will consist of a month of deals instead of just one weekend.
Each week, the retailer will introduce new deals.
The weekly deals come in an online and in-store component.
They first start online, but if you miss a sale , a couple days later you can get it in store.
Here are the dates:
- November 11: (past) online
- November 14: in store
- November 25 at 7 p.m. eastern online, primarily smartphones, and tablets.
- November 27, Black Friday: In store. We expect to see discounts on most categories here
Target
Like Walmart, every week in November Target is offering Black Friday deals.
Ads will be provided the week before.
You can preview the following week’s deals every Thursday.
Here are the dates:
- November 1-7: (past) Deals on electronics
- November 6 – 8 (past) : Deals on home appliances
- November 8-14: Deals on kitchen and floor care
- November 15-21: Deals on electronics, apparel, and beauty products
- November 22-28: Deals on toys, kitchens, floor care, electronics, and gaming
Amazon
Amazon has a Holiday Dash sale which updates every day, but the big sales will still be on Black Friday.
Best Buy
The retailer is offering early sales during it’s Coolest deal sale.
You can get a price guarantee if you are a My Best Buy member.
My Best Buy membership is free.
The price guarantee only applies to Best Buy’s Prep For the holiday Sale.
You will get the guarantee if you buy something before November 27 and the price drops.
It does not include if the price drops on Cyber Monday though.

Will there be deals after Black Friday
From what I hear, sales will continue after Black Friday.
Of course, it is best to avoid the crowds and get your items at home and as early as possible.
The pandemic can cause supply chain problems, so you want to make sure you get your items as early as possible.
Also, this could change and retailers may not offer as many deals after Black Friday.
Again, if possible, get your items before Black Friday.
Summary
This Black Friday is like no other.
I actually am late posting about the month long event of deals because it was unexpected.
I also caught a cold this week and had to send the post out today instead of Monday.
It should have went out on Monday.
I don’t have COVID-19.
It was just a cold and am fine now.
Remember, all major retailers are closed on Thanksgiving this year.
To avoid the crowds and not miss deals, get your items early as possible.
Have you taken advantage of any of the early Black Friday deals?
