I try to do at least one bank bonus a month (usually more).
There are personal bank bonuses.
Then, there are business bank bonuses.
Business bank bonuses can be easier than regular bank bonuses.
Why?
A lot of them don’t have that pesky direct deposit requirement that most personal bonuses require.
Even when it is easy to switch your direct deposit for a month, it can be irritating.
If you get into bank bonuses, you will probably want to fake direct deposit though anyway.

Many people are intimidated by business bank bonuses.
They think they don’t qualify because they are not entrepreneurs.
In today’s side hustle nation, many people are entrepreneurs without knowing it (i.e. Uber, DoorDash, tutor, etc.).
The worse case scenario is you don’t have a business.
No worries.
Many banks don’t verify that you have a business.
Of course, you did not hear this from me.
Business bank bonuses can put some extra money in your pocket (hundreds again).
I think most people should be out making this easy money.
Here is why I think most people qualify.
What Are Bank Account Bonuses
Like all businesses, banks have to spend money to make money
One way they do this is offer an incentive called a bank bonus.
Usually, this incentive has requirements to complete, such as:
- direct deposit from employer
- depositing and leaving a certain amount of cash
- leaving an account open for a certain amount of times
- a certain amount of transactions on a debit car
You can complete both personal saving and checking account bonuses.
Here are some examples:
- Checking: Open Wells Fargo account, get $300
- Savings: Deposit $10,000, get $200
Usually saving account bonuses require large deposits (like $20,000), so I don’t do many of those.

What are business bank account bonuses?
Business bank account bonuses are bonuses for solo entrepreneurs or small businesses.
A lot of people may think they don’t qualify for these again because they are not entrepreneurs (or think they are not).
This is not true.
First, a lot of people have a business without knowing it (Uber, DoorDash, tutor, etc.).
Next, a lot of banks don’t check.
These bonuses are lucrative and sometimes easier than personal bank bonuses because they don’t require a direct deposit again.

If you have done any of these things, you have a business.
In today’s times, most people have some kind of side hustle.
If you have a side hustle, you have a business.
When asked for name of business, just put your name and use your social security number. if you do any of these things
If you don’t think you have a business, honestly, I don’t think a lot of banks check as I will explain in the next section.
Do Banks Check?
Again, if you don’t have a side hustle or business as I mentioned, do the banks really check?
In my experience, banks don’t ask any questions.
You can apply, and see what happens at each bank.
At worse, they ask what industry you are in.
I would not lie, but honestly I think most people should get this easy money.
In some way or form, I think everyone works for themselves.

Again, most people I know have some form of side hustle.
